Considering herself a turnaround specialist, Rohini's career has seen her assume various roles in the media and communications industry spanning public relations, marketing communications, and advertising. With decades of experience, she has been in leadership roles, the most recent being the Head of Corporate Communications for VML (erstwhile Wunderman Thompson / JWT) South Asia. Prior to Wunderman Thompson, she worked with several global PR firms working on a diverse set of clients across lifestyle, consumer, media and entertainment, and corporate verticals.
She has also garnered travel and tourism experience working with several marquee clients such as the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Skyscanner, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the Tourism Council of Bhutan. In her early career, she has also worked with a nonprofit - The Akanksha Foundation, and advertising agency Bates CHI&Partners.
Rohini believes brands need to connect with consumers in a deeper, more meaningful, and authentic manner than ever before, and PR is the most effective tool in one’s arsenal to help them gain a competitive advantage. By developing a content strategy that evolves with changing behaviours of customers, they have never had a better time to make their brands more relevant.
